Can some one tell me why you get 5% increase when sparing out in the middle of nowhere, but only 2% when sparing under a master. It would seem to me that you would learn more and gain more under a master. Perhaps it should read a 2% bonus?

That encourages member interaction.
That means Seifer made it, and I don't know his reason, so that is my guess. I actually let members gain normal, so yeah, I guess I better start following the rules.

Another one of the evil plans by the dark, twisted, next-gen refs.

Actually, that is an original rule. The reasoning is, is that it's easier to train under a master, and just keep doing it than it is to train with another member and just keep doing it. We could always change it, because as I recall, Reno and I talked about it a few times. You would think training under a master would make you gain more power level, wouldn't you? What can I say, Dast, Reno and I are crazy

thats why i said that after say 2 or 3 updates the master gets tired of our free loading ass and kicks us out.
another thing yall could do is, double the amount of current pl that is lost per training. . like if i was at 100 pl and i gained 5 i would lose 10 making my pl 190/105

Just so you know Snakes, your math was wrong just then. If you were at 100/100. You gained 5, you would be at: 90/110.
At any rate, i doubt that would happen. Reason why the masters gain is currently at 2% is because their is a reason beyond current player knowledge. Nahh, this isnt another of one of my famous govermental CIA cover ups, but their is actually a reason behind it.

His math isn't wrong. 100/100. You train and gain five. That makes your base 105. You lose double of 5 which is 10 leaving your current at 90. Thus you have 90/105 pl.
<-- Math Wiz.
