It's hard for 14-year-olds to find steady jobs so I don't have too many CDs in my collection...But oh well.

[glow=blue,2,300]Actually, thank God she is not apparently. She said not too long ago in an interview that she was picking on the Pop industry and how easy it is to sell a dorky pop album with dumbass names of songs that use numbers like "4" instead of the word "for", and "U" instead of "you" and basically said that she just wanted to mock the pop industry with her "Intuition" album. THe words of the songs of that album are pretty cynical if you listen, she even says it: "Sell yourself, just cash in..." in the song "Intuition" She says how stupid things are today in that same song when she refers to how "what was once good, now is bad.."
I agreed with your statement when I first heard the album, but if she is telling the truth and that it was just a mock of the Pop girls, then our folky sounding, society damning, Alaskan babe should be back next album.
Lets hope Im right... i mean... a world where even Jewel sells out... thats a really BAD sign of the times! What next? Paul Simon starts rapping? Steve Vai swears never to play a blues riff again? Frightening to think of isnt it?[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]You have a good point there. I remember that commercial now. Hmm.. I guess we will have to wait until her next album to know for sure. Personally I hope she goes back to damning the ills of society in her own cute alaskan way though.[/glow]
